Packages must contain a cryptographically signed workshop-update.json manifest. Workshop Pro checks compatibility, verifies every file, creates database and file backups, enables maintenance mode, installs migrations and verifies the result.

Automatic nightly backup

Add the command shown in UPGRADE-TO-2.2.0.md to cPanel Cron Jobs. The application keeps the latest backups according to its retention setting.
